Alyssa and Anthony Artale’s journey to parenthood took an unexpected turn in May 2023 when their daughter, Alouette “Lulu,” arrived prematurely at just 25 weeks. Thanks to the expert care and compassion of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team at UW Health Women and Children’s Hospital in Rockford, Lulu is now thriving—and the Artales are giving back in the most heartfelt way.
Introducing Livi Lu’s Chocolate: a delicious collaboration between the Artale family and local artisan chocolatier, CACAOCUVÉE, created in honor of Lulu and the dedicated NICU team that cared for her during those critical first weeks.
For every chocolate bar sold, $2 will go directly to support our NICU at UW Health Women and Children’s Hospital in Rockford, Illinois, helping other families receive the same remarkable care and comfort during their own NICU journeys.
