Blood donations are critically needed in our community to support patients facing surgeries, cancer treatments, trauma care, chronic illnesses and medical emergencies. Every day, local hospitals rely on generous blood donors to help ensure lifesaving blood is available when patients need it most.
Just one donation can help save up to three lives, making a simple act of generosity a powerful way to support families across northern Illinois. Join us at the SAHF Blood Drive at UW Health Heart Hospital and help make a difference close to home.

- When: Tuesday, June 2, 2026
- Time: Noon to 5 p.m.
- Where: UW Health Heart Hospital • Rockford, IL (1350 Charles St.)
- Walk-ins welcome
- Register by Tuesday, May 26 to receive: Foundation lunch cooler plus a UW Health Commons Café Meal Ticket
- All blood donors receive: A Red Robin coupon for a FREE appetizer, dessert or milkshake with entrée purchase
- All blood donors are entered to win: $1,000 Kelley Williamson gas card as part of the Rock River Valley Blood Center Memorial Day to Labor Day promotion

- Schedule online or by phone until 10 a.m. on the day of the drive.
